Not an HR person, but swallow your pride and take the best job you can get and go from there.

Have a few stories chambered about outstanding safety catches, improvements, team work etc. Be ready to explain in detail about your previous plant process.

HR people are not who will hire you. It will be plant personnel and just facilitated by HR.

Disclaimer I’m not HR

Hr person is there to filter out people who are risk oriented or not a good fit for company culture

your job during that interview, is be polite, patient, demonstrate team cooperation and give them no reason to not forward your resume to the next person

The hiring people are the ones where you will need to demonstrate your specific skill set

Not HR but have participated in hiring committees:
1: tell me of a conflict at work that you have been in and how you resolved it?
2: tell me how you would react to a complaint from a coworker wether false or true?
3: how do you address working with others and collaborating as a team, how do you gain insight from others how do you inspire them how do you inspire them?
Hope that helps some, good luck

I remember your post on the OT when you were told your job was being eliminated, and how confused you were. I'm glad opportunities are coming your way!

I would imagine you will be asked not only some technical questions, but also questions about your leadership style and how you would react to different situations. How you handle being responsible for the actions of others, etc.

Spend some time this weekend thinking about the managers and supervisors you have worked for. I'm sure you saw some traits you admired in some people, and I'm sure you thought some people were a waste of space, or worse, actually made the company worse. Think about some situations they were in, and how you would have responded had you been the one in that spot.

Good luck!!
