My thoughts on inflation after four beers

If you live in Atlanta or are moving to Atlanta - or Fort Worth or a good neighborhood in Nashville, or Fayetteville/Bentonville AR - you're paying top dollar to rent or you're going to pay top dollar to buy.
Is this simply an event caused by smart owners/investors, trust fund babies, smart financial folks who weren't born with a silver spoon, but bought low earlier...etc...and they're not going to cave to the first-to-tenth offer that comes down the pike. ?
The media is starting to scream about inflation, and I believe it's just inflation caused by a collection of individuals who have the means to hold out.
They're not selling low.
I don't blame them, and thus I believe that doesn't mean there's a frick ton of inflation on the horizon.
I live in Northwest Arkansas, and I consistently toss mailers from investors or agents who state "I WANT TO BUY YOUR HOUSE!" - and when I say toss, I mean I toss them in the trash can. I don't even call them to see what they'll offer, because in reality, I know they will come with some BS offer, in regards to where I live right now.
Long story short - I could sell my house right now for triple what I bought. Maybe quadruple. I don't know. But I also know I could move to Conway, Arkansas and pay what people were paying 4 years ago here in NWA.
So where's the inflation? I could find a job in Conway and move there and bank the big difference in selling my house here and buying a house there. People move to Arkansas from California all the time and do triple what I'm talking about.
If anything, all this is trending to move people out of cities to more toward the country. Good.
The price of meat. Let's cover that quickly. The 4-mile area I'm in is ridiculous. Well, I just found out there's a place across town 6 miles that has the best price of meat in the fricking universe. I'm sampling more of it tonight. The quality might be a tad less, but I sure as hell don't see any local news stories of local folks dying of meat sold at stores with lower prices.
Gasoline? The only sky screaming about gas prices is from #Resist leftist fricktards making a mountain out of a mole hill as usual. Gas prices aren't bad.

Inflation is about to come from the carrier shortage and transportation costs that I don’t see decreasing anytime soon.

People don’t understand inflation and think that things should always cost the same.

My thoughts on inflation
Or maybe it's just that you should think about these things and drink at the same time. But take solace that your limiting inflation by not having to buy too many beers if 4 was all it took to reach that level.

Carrier shortage means power to the drivers who are going to command higher wages and salaries
Reverse of the current powers that be that think they'll always be able to drive their overhead by raping the manufacturers
Power to the people
You all are arguing "what's probably going to happen" since you learned it from your globalist overlords
I'm posting about reality

Yes, there is a shortage of desirable housing for those wanting to buy, hence the sellers are getting good prices. It's cyclical, although prices for land in new development will drive much higher new/future housing prices and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

You tell me. At Costco a prime full packer brisket is $2.99 a lb here, while a flat choice grade goes for close to $5 a lb and sometimes pushing $6 per lb. There is a lot of fat waste with the prime packer, but that pricing differential is just stupid and the last full packer I bought I literally lost 40% after trimming and cooking, so I went back to choice full packers from Kroger at $2.99. Go figure.
