Can you guys recommend a good app that helps me see how much remaining money I have available to blow each month to where I don’t end up having to draw on savings due to overspending? Something that will basically give me a discretionary “allowance” that I can follow daily and see running out. Would Monarch be a good one?

I switched to monarch. yes I'm paying. It's doing a good job as a mint replacement, but I do hate to be paying for services rendered.

I tried to use intuit, but they denied my account and told me my address doesn't exist.

I did a trial on Monarch. Wasn't a fan.

I've been using YNAB for several years, and I love it.

I switched from Mint to Monarch and am pleased overall. I miss some Mint reporting views but otherwise it’s a very comparable product.

I'm paying for Monarch. If you're more interested in budgeting, YNAB worked well for me in the past (but requires a lot of work -- at least it did for me to keep everything organized). Nowadays I more want to quickly track how much is in what accounts and review transactions for any monkey business. Monarch is great for that.

I don’t even use budgeting features. I just watch net cash flow (great at doing this), transactions (great), and net worth change (good, only offers monthly view).

The recurring transactions calendar is nice. Good way to understand if there is something you want to continue or end.

Agreed. This is the first application I've used that identified recurring transactions that inform discussions with my spouse.
