That is from like a month ago. I was talking about China et. al pushing to change the worldwide reserve currency to something other than the dollar. They were supposed to talk about it last week at the G20 meeting. They swept it under the rug.

Japan asked for treasuries to be denominated in Yen.......first step. BTW, they are much better off with dollar based treasuries as the Yen is wayyyyyyyy to strong at the moment.

Now the chinese would love for it to be in Yuan.

still at level 2. I don't we will go back higher until after xmas.

The technical name for it is RMB. But everyone calls it a yuan.

I thought we might need to raise it (2.5?) because of the spread blowouts in credit and C looking like it might be finally about to meet its demise.

I have toyed with that. I was going to raise it going into the g20 b.c i figured they would frick up.

for the longest time my sig line was "I hate america and want the terrorists to win"

Needless to say people gave me a lot of shite over it. But the concept that anyone can hate america and be an american citizen is hard to swallow in my book.

BTW my first job was working at Wendy's on Williams Blvd. in Kenner. That was the place for Rummel dudes to meet the hot Chapelle chicks.
