After fall AP1 I will have 4 courses left:

I will pair
MKT 701/K James and ISDS 705/Lin <------ is this doable? I'm a strong writer so that won't be an issue.

FIN 701/Vines Spring AP1
MADM 760/Meeks Spring AP2

Claytonks, that's very doable. ISDS 705 has no other graded assignments other than the 3 exams and they are all open book.

With ISDS 705, I could have taken 3 classes and it would have only felt like 2.

I'd say go surfing! I'm a firm believer of work/life balance.

My last two Graduate degrees did not indicate honors either. I work in healthcare. It's more about networking if you're looking for a Senior level position rather than your GPA.

ashl3yc0x, I have been asked about my current GPA in the program during an interview. So yeah, some people and companies do care but I think it's a small minority of companies. I set a goal of a 4.0 in the program but it's more personal than for career advancement. My wife finished her Masters with a 4.0 so I don't have a choice, right?
I completely get where you are coming from... I miss my morning sunrise runs. I still set the alarm every morning to go but with late nights in the books, most mornings I just turn it off and go back to sleep. Just a couple of more months until some normalcy!

Has anybody attempted to take three courses in seven weeks?

I have registered for the following courses:

ISDS 705
MADM 720
MADM 760

Just wondering if it's doable, or if I should only take two.

Yeah I want to get a 4.00 but I this quarter is killing me because I am traveling so much for work.. I am getting burnt out on studying on airplanes and taking exams in hotel rooms!

I think three classes is super ambitious! I thought I would start taking two at a time, but I am sticking to one! Good luck, MADM 720 was A TON of busy work. Like, multiple papers and posts a week. Nothing difficult, but the assignments are very time consuming and pretty boring.

Re: ACCT701 assessment

Glad not penalized for inconsistency between book and slides/handouts :) Took it a few moments ago.

Thanks for your input. I'm familiar with Meeks and from what I hear about ISDS 705, it appears to be manageable. I'm going to stick with my plan.

Advice needed... I saw that the core course ISDS 705 with Lin is available AP2, but the comments on Ratemyprofessor is making me nervous. How is this class? Wondering if I should skip and wait for another prof. TIA!

Ignore comments on Lin in RateMyProfessor. The entire course grade is based on 3 exams. They are open book. Obtain a PDF of the textbook and use search function during exam. Lin approves of this. Of all the classes in this program, this is the last one to worry about.

3 classes is ambitious MBA2k19. Definitely doable though if it could speed up your graduation date.

Personally, I loathe writing assignments and I would lose my flipping mind with those skill builders of 760 and forum posts of 720 at the same time.

It can't be anymore writing than 751 and 701 combined. I feel like I have two papers due each week.
