I wouldn't worry. They will bounce back. I bought in a few weeks back at $173. It will eventually regain it's footing and still paying out a nice dividend.

So are some of the other semi-conductor stocks.

I'm guessing China.

And micron. I believe it has to do with a downgrade on micron and chatter about peak chip cycle with Nand and Dram pricing. Also yes trade issues and for lrcx it has been that equipment purchases are going to slow down in the second half. Still long lrcx and mu.

I figured as much. Man, wish I had some free money I could get into RH quickly. Micron and LCRX are both STEALS right now. $45 and $160, respectively.

As a noobie investor, with a little change in the bank, How do I research these stocks you guys are picking to see if I want to pull the trigger? Today?

Type in LRCX in the "search" bar of whatever brokerage account (ETrade, Fidelity, etc) you have.

If you've got some in your brokerage account now, I'd be pulling the trigger on LCRX. You can also search it in these threads to get an idea of what folks here think of it. MU is really good, too.

EVERYTHING is on the tank today.

First page on this board? I've been following Money Talk for only a few months but a lot of people here have a lot of optimism with LNGLF.

Seeking alpha has an article posted almost every day at this point about MU, some of them can get technical as far as production levels and possibilities for their products, which is good in my opinion. Also depends on your time horizon. I think that if it’s long, even if the bears are correct and we’re at peak ebitda for MU that in 10 years they have a great chance of growth from connected and autonomous cars and the internet of things and data centers, etc.

I wanted to say an article had posted how much additional Nand and Dram capacity an autonomous car needed but literally can’t find it now, so I won’t repeat the figure I thought it said. I’ll post it if I can locate it.

Missed the ship on ATAI. Bought it at $0.85 last Monday at 8:30 am. Sold it 2 days later at noon on Wednesday at $2.50. It had gotten as high as $3.60.

I meant of the thread on LNGLF. I was thinking that was one that didn't do so hot, though there was early optimism on it. May be thinking of something else.

I know the thread about it the guy was huge on them at $1 then he said he bought more at $0.50. At the current price, I may have to drop $500 and see if anything comes of them. Hell, if they can get to half of what LNG is, that would be a huge profit. (Although I'd probably sell WAYYY before it got that high )

Yep, just a really well run and profitable company. Don’t see that changing if you look past near term cyclicality into the next 10-15 years with growth in chip demand and technology.

I may buy a few more shares in the coming week or 2 if it stays this low.
