One of the questions on the planner/scheduler interview for Exxon is "What does critical path mean to you?"
I need to go on some of these interviews.

Are they still hiring planner/schedulers?

I'm not sure. Been hiring a class about once a year. Check the website from time to time. The website is ExxonMobil.com/careers. I'm on mobile and can't link it but you can navigate through to the Baton Rouge site or other sites.

I feel your pain somewhat. My plant just eliminated an entire shift and my boss convenced our PM to let me come to days and be the floor supervisor while he handles all the other stuff. It's only a matter of time until corporate realizes they are paying 2 supervisors for the same job.
I got the ole resume updated and been looking now for about a month. Good luck it will work out in the long run for the best.

Exxon just held testing sessions so I'm sure they will be hiring for various positions soon.

If Jacobs doesn't workout, Ford Bacon and Davis is looking for people in Baton Rouge and New Orleans
