guys, help an amateur out real quick.

i am not familiar with limit orders and Scottrade has advised me thats how it has to be done for LNGLF.

please advise.

Change order type to "limit" and set a price. Scottrade will basically use that amount as an upper limit for purchasing the stock. Your order will not be filled unless it is at or below that price.

As I'm typing, the last price for LNGLF is 4.01. The bid is 4.01 and the ask is 4.02. If you want to fill your order right now, set your limit for 4.02 and it should fill. If you think it will dip back down below 4, set your limit to 3.99 and it won't fill until the price drops to 3.99, but if it never drops down to 3.99 today, the your order will expire if it is set to expire today.

Hope that helps.

ETA: Investopedia is your friend. LINK You can go there for simple definitions of things like limit orders. Also, scottrade has resources on its own website that explain the different types of orders it offers. You should read that for sure.

Click on "Order Type" and choose "Limit", then I just use the current trading price as the limit. It should fill unless the price jumps as you're entering the order.

What does the question mean?

I'm buying up lnglf because I plan on holding it for Years....

From everything I've read about their potential to mimic LNG..

I wasn't looking for you to say this will hit $25. I was looking for a rundown of the growth potential of this company. I've been busy and haven't been able to sit down and read up. Figured one of you might already have a good bit of knowledge.

No, I understand. I'm right there with you. The only information I have is what I've read in this thread. FYI - I didn't get in on it today, either.

Tots I honestly don't know. There are some regulars in this thread who know more about this stuff than me. That being said my guess is that natural gas demand is way down with the cooler summer temps we've seen across the nation. Check this out

WSJ Article

I'm going to continue to watch this one closely.

Lnglf is not making money.... Its a speculative play on its ability to garner permits to construct a massive LNG facility that will export to Australia.... Its down because it has limited volume so small exchanges change the price much more dramatically.....

Force is absolutely right. This is a leveraged infrastructure play. If anything, lower US demand supports this project, as it means lower prices which is good for exporters. I still think the current valuation on this is crazy.

This is probably the reason for the pull back today. They did a secondary at $2.60 AUD, roughly 15 million shares. I'm surprised it hasn't dropped more.

LINK

Also, the OTC shares seem to be trading at a premium to the ASX listed.
