I personally disagree with that assessment.

It's certainly not as bad as some drugs, I think that has to do with the nasty come down though.

Have you lost weight since starting it?

Well I'm 5'9 150 lbs so I don't have really that much weight to lose. Also I only use it about 2-3 times a week so I don't think it would be that noticeable even if I were bigger.

I know this whole topic is taking place in a bitcoin thread on the money board, but all of this is fascinating to me. Thanks for the info man.

I think that is roughly a reduction of 400-600 calories a week. Probably not gonna have much of an effect on your frame haha.

Why? I prefer to pay with bitcoin. Plus it is easier to shop online using it (especially when not using Gyft).

How is it easier? It's already easy to shoppe online....

When you're just dealing directly with bitcoin payments it only takes about 5 seconds to make the transaction (Pick up your phone, hit the coinbase app, press the scanner button, and scan the code)

You don't have to type in or save any information.

... But you spent time setting that up. Just like I spent time setting up my Amazon account.

I mean I am sure it's quick, but how is it better?

Setting up an Amazon account and saving your card to it still allows for security vulnerabilities. If Amazon had a bitcoin pay option that wouldn't be the case.

Because as we've all seen, no bitcoin sites have ever been hacked or had bitcoins stolen.

If someone hacked Amazon after you purchased something (Even when using an online wallet that is vulnerable to theft) the hackers wouldn't be capable of stealing your bitcoin.

This isn't hard to understand.

Wiki, have you made serious amounts of money off Bitcoin? Either holdings value or what you have already sold?

Not asking numbers just did you invest in your own game early?

If someone hacks my Amazon account, I am still protected. Hell, I shopped at target and nothing happened to me because of the way I set up my funds.

I still see no reason why its better than a dollar.

What law is that? The only truth here is that Bitcoin is man made. I need not go down that road.

In any case, I have seen some of the methods talked about for "securing" bitcoins and its no different than a damn bank or keeping your money in a safe. The only difference is that it is digital.

If bitcoin is so great, someone should be able to explain to me how it is so revolutionary and better than all other forms.

SO, so I'm more clear on the process of investing:

If I go to the coin wallet sight you speak of and purchase a bitcoin fir my wallet, it is sold to me at the market rate at that time, correct?

Secondly, I could actually just leave it there for 20 yrs and it would still be in my wallet but at the (hopefully) higher value at that time?

Is this how common folk invest in bitcoin?

What approach would you take if you wanted to invest in the coin feeling it will gain value over time? How do you buy and hang on?

Thanks in advance

Coinbase sells at market price + a small fee.

You could leave the BTC in your Coinbase wallet or you could move your funds offline so that their is no risk of theft (and to the person that says that this is like having the bank put it in a safe is missing the point, it takes seconds to move your bitcoin in/out of cold storage)

What IS hard to understand is why do you keep missing the point of the post you're replying to and then making a completely irrelevant statement in reply? Take a pill. Maybe it will help you concentrate.

They may not be better off, but you are definitely worse off. Why is that hard for you to understand? People do malicious things all of the time with no obvious benefit to themselves. Why do people create viruses or other malware?
