Steal a crop report and manipulate Orange Futures and bankrupt a trading firm in the process.
Otherwise my only other option is to win the lottery or try to shack up with a member of a rich family.

I have a couple of wealthy friends that have way more faith in me than I have in myself. They’d give me an unsecured loan if I had to come up with it. I would not like it, but I would go that route before I started liquidating assets

If I HAD to - $30,000 on one number on a roulette wheel for several spins. After that fails plow the rest into lottery tickets.
Then I'd cash out my 401K.

I'm just not that liquid (I know, TWSS) and it would involve significant debt and/or expense for me to do so.
I mean, all in, I put my net worth at about that, but it involves some hinky assumptions about this and that and suffice it to say, it is unrealized at present.

I would find a Boxer or Pop Star and become their Manager.
Help them with their finances and such.

Planning on going off the grid or had someone kidnapped by a criminal element that allows installment plans for ransom payments?

I will get blasted for bragging, but did this last fall. Decided to buy a nice lakehouse with cash. Pulled it all from stocks. I decided to move the money from stocks to real estate. We live in a strong real estate market and feel confident that the home will appreciate nicely. It might appreciate less than the market, but I can live with that.
I made a commitment to start funding both retirement and non-retirement funds about 20 years ago and was fortunate enough to not have to touch my 401k money. I would not have bought the lakehouse if it meant pulling the money out of my retirement money.
Fyi, I only kept 1 stock outside of my 401k. NVDA. Could not bring myself to touch it.
