Eh, I think it's an overreaction. Companies this size can't plan as quickly as inflation and costs rose.
Manufacturers typically give a 90 day notice of price increases...at some point elasticity and/or retailer margin compression is going to impact their bottom line.
These retailers will improve their cost structure (and especially reduce gen merch inventory position) in back half of the year.

Didn't their revenue beat expectations and were up YoY? I mean they missed on earnings but wouldn't revenue be a better indicator of GDP?

LULU still at 41x earnings at this level. I can see that coming down a lot more.
I sold half my SARK holdings at $77 last week (timed perfectly) and just bought some of them back at $66.28).

Sales increased, but transactions decreased like 12 percent.
Essentially people are paying more for groceries, so spending less on other things.

I didn't even do it from a technical standpoint. When groceries start getting expensive, and unemployment starts creeping up. $200 spandex won't be a hot seller.

I can't sell my SARK because I've sold a covered call against my shares. They WILL get exercised in 2 days.
