Of course they did.

If they did not spend the money as required to get it fully forgiven (payroll & taxes) they would have been expected to pay it back.

Im going to say that most of these companies had no idea we would still be in lockdown.

It's a shame b/c for the most part the govt was doing the right thing.

I just read the IRS issued a revenue ruling overriding the Cares Act language that the PPP loans would be exempt from taxation. Could get interesting if Congress doesn't statutorily override that.
