HSA expense for fiance

I can't find much information about this online, and I can never get a straight answer when I call my HSA provider. So I bring the question to the MT.
Can I use my HSA card to pay for my fiance's medical exenses if we are getting married before the end of the year, and will be filing taxes together for this year?

I would think you can only pay for medical expenses after you get married. What happens if you don't get married?

True, but that's not too much of a risk for me to take

the HSA rules for qualified expenses tag off the Sch A medical deduction rules. Publication 502 states, for purposes of the Sch A deduction:
So if you can hold off paying the medical bill until after you are married, you are good to go.

You can include medical expenses you paid for your spouse. To include these expenses, you must have been married either at the time your spouse received the medical services or at the time you paid the medical expenses

What are you looking to pay for? If you are not talking about OB appointments or something I wouldn't worry about it at all. IF you are audited, I doubt they are going to go through your medical history to see if the broken foot or emergency room visit you paid for was for you or someone else.
Plus as you said, she will become your wife this year. I mean you can attribute to last years' IRA contributions 4 months after the year.
