HSA contribution limits barely increasing in 2026

2025: $4300
2026: $4400
(for individuals)
Families only rise $200 year to year.
Looking back a few years, this is smallest increase in recent memory, if not ever.
Wonder why? I’m not being rhetorical.

Not surprising. They don’t want us insuring ourselves. 401k contribution limits will probably increase double the HSA increase. We all know why.

HSAs are incredible and should be the dominant form of health insurance
