I just realized I forgot the "often" in the title of this thread...

it should read "How often do you go a day without spending any money" as I'm quite aware how to do it

Me... Never
Wife... About 4 days a week.

It's because I buy all of the groceries and all of the gas for both cars. Then there is Starbucks every morning and golf once a week.
She only shops online about 3 days a week because she's a shift worker and sleeps when stores are open.

Why would someone care if they spend (explicitly) $0 in a day? Of all MTB topics, this feels like one of the most extreme I have seen in years of being on this site.

You could take the opposite tact. Like "How many days a week do you spend over 100?"

I don't really care as I'm not going to make any active changes to my spending

just kinda surprised me how little my family does it and was just curious if others were the same

Ah, the family aspect might be the difference. I am single so I do not worry about what a significant other is spending....If I was married, I could see this mattering.
