I don't pay RE taxes by the month. Who does?

I figured that much, I was just making sure there weren't some outrageous ax bills out there. I don't know how it works for you people who have the house paid off

There's probably only a tiny handful of residential properties in the entire state of Louisiana that are assessed $108,000 or more per year in property taxes.

ETA, I'm betting none of them are in River Ridge.

Would you like to see my tax statement smart arse?
If you have been to River Ridge then you know there are many houses that would generate this much in taxes.

Yeah, my point was in response to the guy asking if your $9000 was paid MONTHLY (i.e. $108,000 per YEAR in taxes).

I only meant to say there was no freaking way for that.

What you actually reported (and what I knew you meant) was not completely beyond reason -- and I was in no way trying to insinuate such.

Keep up here.

I ignored the monthly post b/c it was so off the wall I didn't think anyone would take it serious. Sorry for the confusion.

People forget it's making $$$ by not paying interest. Wrote a check for mine a couple of years ago and having ZERO debt...period; is liberating.
