How difficult would stock trading be if we had sound money and a balanced budget?

I bet it would be substantially more difficult.

The markets are fake and pumped up by never ending M2 expansion. I don't necessarily hate it because I've profited nicely off of it over the years. I'm just saying

It would be kind of boring, like Switzerland and Scandinavia….you could choose between putting your money in a watch company, a bank, or maybe even a furniture store.

Doubt it would be much different in the tech trade. To many traders chasing the perceived winners in a crowded field.

100% correct it would be more difficult.

401k's were the beginning of the end regarding fundamentals in the market because it politicized the stock market & created a thoughtless stream of buying
The Financial Crisis and never ending QE was the final nail in the coffin regarding any fundamentals to the market.

Very very hard. However, the common man would have no pressure to gamble their money like we do now.

Daily debasement is responsible for where we are now.
