Love Hancock Whitney. Been with them since high school (I think they were LNB back then). Many of my family members are business owners and love it as well.

They are convenient with many branches, still have local relationship with my banker, mobile checking, can deposit checks from home through the app, and no fees.

List of Independent Community Banks

This is a fantastic resource.

Being that you’re a small business owner, it’s a no brainer you look for a good, local bank.

I think I would look at EFCU if I was looking for a new business account.

Being that he’s a business owner, he would / should take offense he pays taxes and credit unions do not.

Chase is so easy

You missed the small part. Chase makes zero sense. Tech has caught up at most all banks these days. Comparable to decent smart TV’s for a couple hundred bucks.

This is why you typically find lower rates, less fees, and better service at credit unions, unlike banks.

Can’t say I’ve found this to be true.

Give me a good, locally owned Main St USA community bank any day. One that lends money to farmers and contractors.

This isn’t true either.

Credit unions typically deal with / market to B and C level customers. Justifying charging higher loan rates for similar products.

It is absolutely true. Sorry you’ve had bad experiences elsewhere.
