I will pose one question to either Tigerdog or Pitboss if they would be so gracious as to grace us with their all knowing Shale knowledge. Why would a group of landowners with several thousand acres see their lease offers go from 300-500 to 1000-2000 and then after the latest seismic testing from the best most technological firm in the world, that lease jumps to 10,000 an acre as soon as they review the results? And I know for a fact they couldnt wait to get them signed up as soon as the testing was done for 10 times earlier offers. I know you guys talk about "evidence and facts" would you at least admit that this is a new fact and new evidence?

The man who brought the contracts over drove personally from Fort Worth this morning and is a big operator in the Barnett and specializes in shale/horizontal gas plays!

Hey, guess what? we NEVER and you can go back and look at our statements, said anything about people giving you some money, we just said the Haynesville Shale is not there. We also never said anything about Caddo Parish, that would be stupid because there is a good thickness of shale in 19N. We said the Haynesville formation is a sand in North BOSSIER parish. Also, if they are mailing a check, you got screwed. The check should of been brought to the signing. I see Flop made an appearance but still has seen nothing happen in PD when he said there would be offers made over a month ago.

and by the way...I'm sick and tired of fighting about it, so I won't be posting anymore, I'll be on the Tiger Rant. I'll eat crow when they make a Haynesville Shale well in North Bossier Parish (Plain Dealing)that's all we've ever denied. Here's to hoping some folks pay some big bonuses up there and you get some good Cotton Valley royalties.

How many times can we go back and read your statements about lease offers, yall said that if someone put their land in a truck and drove it to south caddo they could get a big bonus 10000 an acre aint that bad

In a nutshell, that is what he is saying. I figure you will see rigs all along both sides before this is over.

I would probably have to go to the BANK...before I passed out!! Is this company one of the players we know about?
Posted on 8/7/08 at 3:54 pm to Flop
I am not pulling anyones leg, are we probably near the fringe, most likely. But this lease is a signed and done deal I have talked to alot of o/g gas and they have all said if your getting 10G an acre, especially after seismic testing then things are looking up!

WOW good to hear all the GOOD news! We're T22, 10,000 for our 40 acres would be nice! Anyone know when the next PD meeting will be?
