Anyone been successful getting a dealership to accept Gm Supplier discount recently? My wife's company is a supplier. I have the authorization code. Looking at a gas burner 2500 which doesn't sell as fast a the Diesels. My sales guy says he doesn't know if they will honor it with the shortage. It will save me about $3500 on the truck. I didn't think the supplier discount took money out of the pocket of the dealer.

If that is an OEM discount, the way I think that works is OEM reimburses dealer. The cost resides with the OEM.
However, if supply shortage, the OEM may not be honoring it.

Found a dealer that will take the Supplier discount. They also gave me the Costco $1000 Chevy promotion as well. Gave me $47750 on my 2020 Sierra 1500 SLT. Paid 44750 for it in December 2019. Crazy times.

Not a GM vehicle, but I wasn’t successful getting the Chrysler Affiliate discount after calling several dealers in several states for my new Ram. My local dealer did give me $3000 more than the other dealers for my trade though (GMC Sierra).
