The short version: starting at 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, July 13, you'll have multiple options to see the new Broncos on your screen and—here’s the reason Ford has revived the name—you can make a reservation for a new Bronco for $100 right when things start.

4-door, 2-door and “sport” models.
F closed Friday at 6.10

a small risk I think to buy tomorrow and hold thru the reveal aftermarket.
I’d be ready to bail after hours though just in case

So you gonna buy right at open tomorrow? It had a decent gain Friday of 4%

I bought 10,000 shares Friday @ $5.90, also bought 110 $6 puts @ $.18. Just need it to crack $6.20 to make a profit.

The bronco will be a dud imo.

Might not make a difference for a quick in and out trade but I doubt it's a big seller.

Ford makes more revenue selling one vehicle (F150’s) than Tesla makes from selling all their vehicles. Yet Tesla’s market cap is more than Ford, GM, and Fiat Chrysler combined.

There’s a lot of brand loyalty but many investors think they’re moving too slow into future technologies and will be too much competition by the time they catch up.

you better get going on learning options. You're missing opportunities
What you describe here, is an option play.

Ford reported a loss last Q and 2Q will be worse.
This idea isn’t about long term success just a jump due to news

Yeah I don’t see this being a long term game changer. Too much dead weight. Fact is the way we move around is going to change greatly over the next 50 years. I don’t believe ford is well positioned to take market share.

I have a small position at 4.26 from months ago. How much of a run up are we thinking. My target was $8 but I would rather get up sooner rather than later.

alright i'm in.
lets see what happens, shouldn't be much of a risk here.

they have the video reveal tonite at 8PM, followed by an open reservation system for $100/per unit, and a 7/17 conference call with BofA.

buy american

Here’s to a 35b market cap in the near future

I sure hope Ford has some sort of surprise up their sleeves. If they roll out all combustible engines on this Bronco, that will be a big disappointment considering the hype around EV releases.

i would prepare to be disappointed on that then.
maybe they'll offer an EV option on the "sport" which is basically just another shitty crossover.

nobody is going to want to buy a real bronco with an electric engine
