I'm looking to make a logistics play, and am strongly considering FedEx. CNBC was talking about it yesterday and it sounded good, virtually all the research I'm seeing rates it as a buy, and a pretty nice dividend. That said, it's not too far off its 5 year high, which happened recently.

Anyone holding it? Any thoughts?

They are now worse than USPS.
Not sure how that plays on the market though.
I wish they would just either go away forever or get their shite together again.

They were the worst delivery service for me last summer, by far, but USPS has recently reclaimed their title.

I have not followed FedEx stock, but my fiancée is technically a FedEx employee as of this past December, so I hope it does well.

I’ve been in and out of XPO since the pandemic drop. I wish I would have just held but I can’t complain. I don’t remember the DD I did back then, but it was and is the most attractive to me.

I bought ups about 2 years ago and everything I read at the time was that ups was light years better than fedex, both as an investment and as a company (which I suppose go hand in hand anyway).

I’m not sure if anything has changed in the last 2 years.

Not on the parcel side, but UPSer here. Couple of things, our new CEO is badass. Carol Thome has brought a very refreshing approach to a very suit and tie/old school management structure.

About 6 weeks ago, UPS announced they were selling the Freight (LTL) division to focus on their core competencies on the parcel side. I thought it was a very smart play. Just cause we can be a freight company doesn’t mean we should. The push is better not bigger and all her moves seem to emphasize that. Really like her leadership and swagger.

The UPS Parcel network will continue to get better and better with a focus on e-commerce and healthcare. UPS will be a great stock for many years to come.

I also hold DSV & CH Robinson.
