And in the real world nobody has sat on cash 100% for centuries at this point. Womp, womp.
Why don't you explain modern portfolio theory and how much you hate the system because it's not working like the books you read told you

You said "when did this become an argument" how low is your IQ?

One of the most important functions of currency is a store of value, literally every economics textbook in existence will tell you so, are you completely stupid?
Can you link fiat currencies that have been a store of value in your lifetime?

Might as well ask Agent Smith about the Matrix, they are cogs in the machine designed to rob us through expansion of fiat currency. The system is designed to protect the players in the game that own the policy makers.
International high finance and mega-corporations.
They can make outrageous bets at the casino, if theyre dealt a good hand they win, if they bust out the house gives them a fresh marker out of your stack. Its that simple.

is there massive inflation, just not across the board?
There is massive inflation RIGHT NOW. It's just not in the areas that the Fed chooses to track in the Core Inflation Index.
Housing, food, gas ... inflated.

So, rather than simply having a different view that we’ve supported with data, and rather than supply your own data, you’re going to assume we are part of a high-finance conspiracy to hide inflation. Got it. Welcome to the OTification of the Money Talk, ladies and gentlemen.

Let’s start here: state your argument.

Conflating supply chain disruptions and policy driven labor shortages that are causing price increases in certain materials doesn't equal long term secular inflation. The Fed has to manipulate TIPS just to try and make it appear like it's happening. Not my fault you don't know what inflation actually is or why it's happening. Hilarious that you're arguing otherwise as globalization and technology continue to be some if the strongest deflationary forces in human history. Meanwhile y'all are profiting on a digital commodity that does well in disinflationary environments.

The Wall Street Casino is rigged by the whales that own the Casino Managers, they can't lose. The house has infinite markers, when the whales win they collect, when they lose they collect.

In what markets besides cell phones and personal computers/tablets. Which are more or less due to economies of scale and subsidation of the poor to buy trinkets.

So you’re not here to actually talk macro; you’re just a crusader against the “Wall Street Casino?”
Posted on 5/10/21 at 6:07 pm to RedStickBR
I'm a crusader against printing 10 trillion dollars more or less with trillions more coming. Look you're in the Matrix there's no use arguing this
Posted on 5/10/21 at 6:17 pm to Strannix
They didn't print a single dollar unless you think your daughter swiping your credit card is printing money
