FB could buy AT&T and become the communication provider in every aspect. Allow Facebook to be your base. Allow everything to be integrated with and accessed through Facebook, email, phone, TV, internet. It would be interesting and it is what we are ultimately heading toward.
Facebook has lost its "cool" factor which was its driving factor. Now that your mom can get on and post and it is publicly traded, it doesn’t have the exclusive feel. They have to do something big while it is still worth so much otherwise it is a slow fall.

Considering AT&T market cap is 190 billion and Facebook is an overly inflated 90 billion...i don't think that's a realistic option.
