I have an extra 1500 in trading account.
Assuming the plot to short squeeze will work, whats the best way to invest in AMC?
Straight stock buy?
Call options...if so, what price and expiration?

I would recommend against trying to time a short squeeze as an investing strategy. Not to mention the fact that short interest in this stock and GME is a fraction of what it was previously, so it likely won't happen or at least won't happen to the extent it did before.

I would personally just buy the stock. That being said, there is a HUGE uptick in the 3/19 $40 calls. Strong indicator that many believe this stock is going up considerably.

Look at the massive increase in call interest for the next few weeks. Some are at 80%! That should tell you a ton on which way this is going.

He's saying that a short squeeze isn't happening any time soon.

This is ruder than I wish to be, but if you don't know what a % of short float means then you have no business uttering the word short squeeze, much less trying to profit from one.

Agreed, but those numbers are clearly not accurate.

I now have this stock because everyone was jumping in like 3 weeks ago. Dont think it will go up overnight but if everything starts to open up again. i could see this at 20 to 25 by end of year.

youve been telling people to buy AMC since it was ~$15 a share, which according to math, its still trading around ~50% less than those numbers

Its rude, but who cares. My point was I wanted his clear take. He posted a 2 week old short %. Are you saying you think its the same today?

I have ZERO doubt the stock will rise. Now I do not know if a GME type squeeze will happen, but every single thing I've followed on this the last week have come to fruition, in relation to the effort to create the squeeze.

I simply don't want to ignore it any longer, and asked a very simple question....and that is, how to be in position to best profit on a 3 fold+ increase in the coming weeks.(if it happens)

You seem knowledgeable enough to offend with your wisdom, so feel free to throw in your advise in the hypothetical I presented.

TIA

That number does not account for naked shorts. Multiple short ladder attacks have been done since 1/28. Failed to Cover numbers are extremely high also.
