Rice Delman says the same thing. What really matters is the combination of President/Senate/House. And even then all combinations are within a few precentage points.

Agreed. Compared to a ~0.25% return in interest bearing savings accounts, 16% is amazing. Since Jan 1 that return is likely much higher than 16%.
My dad was one of those "if Biden gets elected you should pull all your money out" people. I tried to tell him how ridiculous that was, and even showed market returns under previous presidents. Luckily, in the end, he didn't pull his money out and neither did I.
