The bots were a great idea, but I was overextended. I should not have had 30+ bots for my account size (~$5,000)

I have $60K’ish running 12 bots and they have been killing it. Averaging $270/day

Which bot pairings do you use?

What are your settings?

My bots are coming back to life as well. Pretty much sat motionless for a few months. Now is a good time to have bots running with this sideways trading range.

This thread brings back memories, haha. The market's probably too bearish for bots right now though.

I am still running bots, and they have been doing great over the last year. A lot of bots that I originally had on Binance got stuck, so i just staked what I could, and held the others. That has worked in my favor with this bull market we are in. i did change from BinanceUS to Kraken just so I could trade in USD. A few tweaks here and there, but they have been very profitable with minimal risk.

I’ve been experimenting with trading bots for a while now. What stands out is that the settings and bots you choose really make or break your results. For me, keeping it simple and manageable has worked best. I’ve never run more than a few bots at a time to avoid getting too stretched. It’s also important to periodically adjust settings based on market conditions. What works in a bull market might not be ideal for a bearish or sideways range.

I’ve recently looked into options like the BananaGun Bot, which seems to cater to both newer users and experienced traders by providing features like auto sniping and copytrading. It might be worth checking out if you’re looking for something that simplifies the process but still packs a lot of functionality.

I was until about a month ago. Kraken made me update my API and it wiped out all my bots that were doing well. Got pissed and just stopped em. I’m sure I’ll jump back in to finish out the bull run.

Mach, thinking about getting set up.

What would you suggest? Platforms and setup as of now?

Honestly, I wouldn’t be the best person to ask. I starting using 3 commas several years ago, and traded out of a Kraken account. 3 Commas works well, but I’m sure there are cheaper options out there. Possibly even some free ones. I used Kraken so I could trade in USD. Maybe others on here will have better options. I’d like to hear some myself. Bots are a blast once you figure them out.

Those of us that had FTX wish we would've never done it, so don't feel too bad.

I’ve spent time tweaking bots on 3Commas too, and it’s been decent, especially for setting up grid bots that run hands-off. But what worked best for me lately is looking into more DEX-specific setups that don’t rely on centralized exchanges. I’ve been focused more on Solana-based tokens now, and I wanted bots that suit that ecosystem. The preset options are nice, but sometimes I felt like I needed something more tailored to certain platforms like Raydium or Meteora.
