Yeah, they move over all your personal accounts over to where your business one is.

No, you still have to get a new card each time (ie new "account"). It is just possible to circumvent the 24 month rule.

I just secure messaged Chase about matching the 70k INK in branch offer with no first year fee. Update below, should have just edited this one

Chase matched the 70k in branch offer by secure message. Still have the AF but that is legit
Gets me to >200k UR points. I'm hoping to get to 300k by October/November. I think there is a good chance I can get there

I'd go easy on the manu spends first couple of months. Why you need so many points though? I start getting anxious with high point balances

Not planning on it anytime soon. I met the signup and now just use INK for buying chipotle gift cards to get me some poop burritos ($25/2weeks?). I'll eventually get Amazon but I got Discover 5%x2
I only have an Office Depot so my options on Manufactured spending is rough unless I want to be driving 10+ min during my lunch at work

Combined the wife + my points and all of it is legit. My dad, brother + sister have all asked about CSP so I referred them, and my dad was interested in Chase Ink for his business.

OD GCs are no good. There are very limited Staples in the world. But there is one that I visit often. It can be found at staples.com
Online and in-store Ink MS costs 0.58cpp. So I don't bother myself too much with the driving. Honestly, I rarely buy GCs at stores anymore. No reason to.
And as far as the points go, I was just wondering if you are just accumulating just for the heck of it or you got something in mind. I am kinda the same I guess but I do constantly redeem. Since I rarely go for premium cabins I usually end up with higher point balances than I should still. Not complaining. Just anxious. The more points you got out there, the more you stand to lose due to devals/shutdowns

Never stayed at an All Inclusive before, for Hyatt Zilara do I need to do any pre arrival work to plan activites etc? Or can I just show up and figure it out from there
It is easy for me to buy Amazon GC at Office Depot on the way home to have immediate refills. If I got into MS I was looking at Staples.
I've seen Staples GC rebates and stuff, can you/do you do that on staples.com?
I have some trips coming up and others I want to go on. I was counting points earned mostly since I'm about to spend a ton
30-45k NYC Hotel potentially twice
7.5k Denver Hotel

Typically, no. Even if you did, it would be 1 per household. Doesn't make me jump out of my seat but it is a free $20-$25 every now and then.

Sweet.

Most of the points will be for hotel stays. I got a companion pass so all my domestic travel is SW and after 9 RT tickets for things, I still got around 60k points left
I'm thinking of maybe doing a ski trip, Punta Cana, DC, Chicago and California trip in the next 6-12 months too.

With the platinum status from the Hyatt CC what type of room upgrades do they do in general?
More specifically, what should I expect on a very slow weekend at a Grand Hyatt I'm Denver?

They'll give you a better view room or something if they can. I wouldn't expect much. Email in advance if an upgrade is important. The most valuable one I can remember is no view garden view room to ocean view room in Kauai. I'd emailed the GM in advance.

Figured it couldn't be too great given the status is from a CC
Read somewhere that diamond member got them to open up rooms on points real easily. Looks like a ton of availability so I just want a Regency Club to be available for points
What does it take to upgrade a room on points I as reading about?

Which zilara ? Don't book in advance in Mexico or Jamaica. Many times you can get better cash rates for many things. Only thing I'll book in advance is fishing charters with the better captains.

All depends on the hotel location and occupancy. Platinum status usually got me upgrades when hotel was at low occupancy.
Diamond usually guarantees me a suite if available. If you're okay with pressing the front desk agent if you know there's club rooms available on the website, do it. They won't always proactively do it, but a simple "does my platinum status get club access" might do it.

Pretty excited about Barclay getting back in the AA game. Curious to see what kind of offers they'll start with. I like the precedence AA is starting by going with two banks for one co brand card. Hopefully that continues.
Posted on 7/13/16 at 8:07 pm to LSUAfro
True. But AA kind of different given that they don't have any bank transfer partners.

Booked Cancun. I was thinking about calling and seeing about reservations at Chefs plate or whatever the nice restaurant is
I didn't know if anything had to be booked advance. Any suggested activities both paid/in general

I'm not sure. As diamonds we were guaranteed reservations made day of, but on busy nights the popular restaurants did have waits. Can't hurt to send email and request. Even the restaurants that weren't full kept a wait because they weren't staffed to handle it.
