Did you try for the Chase Ink+ yet? If no, consider going for Ink+ for another 65k first. One of the harder cards to get down the line and one of the most powerful UR earning tool. Its a business card so if you need help filling out app, let us know.
I'm going to get it down the line some.

I signed up for the Chase Freedom card and was wondering if I could put a fake name for the AU and get the extra cashback.

For those looking for improvement projects and have patience, signing up for a discover card can be legit.
Sign up bonus is 2x first year earned cash and next quarter is home improvement/Amazon
Home Depot has shop discover 5% that stacks with 5% Quarterly= (5%+5%) x 2=20%
Sears last go around was 10%+5% x 2

I guess the good news is I thought I was only getting the 30k miles and now the 50k is available so I can try that. Just don't know how soon is too soon.
Also, is there anyway to get the 70k offer without being specifically targeted? That would be pretty sweet.
So, I've got both cards now. The United 50k miles bonus, and the IHG 70k bonus, but will need to spend a total of $5k in 3 months. Not really that hard, but I'd like to do it in about 1 month so that I can book sooner. Are there any legit MS opportunities out there still?
Anybody have any luck recently asking for the targeted offers being matched?
I did this with the CSP preferred years ago when there was a 100k bonus target and got chase to give me a $500 statement credit in lieu of an additional 50k UR points.

I have 1 open slot for the 5/24 rule. What should I get?
I was thinking Chase Ink but open to other ideas.

Ink is the best out there for UR IMO - just a tad better the CPS right now. 60k points (but no option for UA bonus), but you do have to spend $5k. Not a problem, but isn't the quickest out there either. I've kept the card to autopay cell, cable, and utilities. Get 5x pts on that and office supplies too.
Depends if you're needing anything specific right now though. If not, definitely get the Ink.
Shameless edit: If you want a referral... here you go.
Earn 60,000 bonus points with Ink Plus® from Chase.

Chase Ink without a doubt
I would apply for Ink first then apply for United as well if you got targeted for one of the higher offers. Check here: United MileagePlus Explorer. Lot of people (including me) are targeted for the 75K (After AU) + $50 offer. Hard to beat.

Is UA under the 5/24 rule?
Posted on 6/6/16 at 1:29 pm to GenesChin
Unfortunately it seems to be. However, you have a much better chance of getting approved if applying through targeted offers. YMMV.
Can't stress enough how awesome Ink+ is. So if you are in doubt - go for that one.

Just a heads to any AMEX card holders out there. There's a new targeted offer this month for spend $100 at a supermarket and receive 1500 MR points. So check your offers.
We're lazy and use Prime now and eat out regularly, so we rarely go to the grocery store. I just stopped by Kroger and bought a $100 amazon gift card and some beer. Before I could get to the car I got an email from AMEX saying that I met the requirements for the 1500 points.

What ways do you MS?
I was thinking of doing the following (GC at staples)
$200/mo Amazon GC (subscribe & save is awesome)
$200/mo Gas GC
$200/mo Utilities etc
What else is there other than buying Visa GC for every day spend not a category?

For non cat I exclusively use my SPG Biz. For UR - I mainly buy the $300 VGC online and liquidate them through different means (mainly MOs). I don't spend near enough to earn the kind of points that I want to (10-20K UR/month). But I will say this - be very careful with Ink MS. Got to scale very slowly.

Rumor is leaking that Chase Freedom 5% is going away for new signups and may also be auto product changed to Unlimited from Doctor of Credit.
We shall see.
I've been buying out my HEB grocery gift cards to make sure I max the quarter. I like my 5X.
