Can you explain this? It looks enticing because of high point values but I know they aren't worth much.
Sure. The value of the points is something like 0.4 cents per point, which is horrendous. The Chase Hyatt, for example, is more like 2.1 cents per point. Plus, you get two complimentary nights that you can use to stay an $800 a night hotel.

This card looks pretty good!
Thanks.

Not the best use. But sure. You can use them at ANY Hyatt in the world. Including Park Hyatt Sydney, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Park Hyatt Hadahaa (Maldives). And you would choose to use them at a Cat 4?

Do they expire?

Yes. 12 months from date of issue (when you earn them aka end of billing cycle in which you meet the spend)

holy crap, could I use those two free nights to stay at the hyatt regency in NOLA for endymion? would save me a ton!
I just used two free night certs from the Hyatt card on the Park Hyatt in NYC...usually about $1K per night.

What is the sign-up bonus on the Hyatt/ can someone post/link the perks and cost for it? I am about to hit my sign-up bonus on my CSP and I think I may start churning some.

Sign up bonus is two free nights at any Hyatt in the world. Annual perk is two free nights at any Cat 4 or lower property. The point accrual system is less than spectacular, but the aforementioned benefits more than make up for the annual fee.

Must have card due to annual free night to make up your 5 Chase cards. CSP, FU, SWx2 (now is a good time to get these, since all 3 have 50K bonuses on them, easy to get to CP), Hyatt, IHG.
Replace FU with Ink if you want to go for a Business card.

If I'm paying the annual fee on one of the UR cards, it's the Ink over the CSP any day. Easy for me to say being I have a downgraded CS, but true nonetheless.

Can't you only redeem the UR with the Ink or CSP?

You can only transfer to travel partners from those two cards. You can redeem UR on most of Chase's cards. You just shouldn't
ETA: But you only need one of them. You can transfer UR from and to any UR card. Illustratively, I transfer UR points from my CS and Freedom to my Ink before redeeming.

Does anyone that signs up get the bonus? Or do I need an offer or link? What is the spending threshold to get the bonus?

You have to spend $1k in 3 months and it's open to anyone that qualifies...If used wisely, the Hyatt signup bonus is by far the best signup bonus value out there.

It's one night per year at a Cat 4, sorry about that. You don't need any specific link. That's simply the sign up bonus. Spend is 1k in three months.

Why wait? Pick up a CSP or Ink to help with the airfare
