Matthew 21:12
Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

I think it's a little uncouth, and I wouldn't use a business that does it, but I realize I am probably in the minority with that opinion.

So your telling me you don't see any difference in doing business in the actual church or doing it at your house?

The decision to buy or not to buy my services is made of their own free will. I would also assume that the church is benefitting financially from the advertising. What's your point?

I read my parish's bulletin online at my house.

So we have a Pharisee on our hands.
I do it only to help the Parish pay for the printing of the bulletin, if I don't then i guess the Parish will have to foot the bill instead of using it to fund our local charities, right?

Everything's not for sale.
Chalk this up as another reason I detest organized religion. If you're going to advertise to your fellow church goers, or even another church you don't attend, try shaking some hands, talking to people, building an actual relationship.
People are so desensitized to meaningless display ads, the last place I want some POS hawking wares is the place I'm trading on my soul's worthiness.
