Never done warrants before, but after this thread, I did a little research and got me some warrants. No idea what I'm doing, but I'll give it a shot. YOLO!!

If online brokerage accounts would add slot machine music option it would be a lot more exciting

Basically warrants are like options but with a longer expiration period, typically 5 years. So they are a levered way to play a stock. If the stock goes up big time, you earn more than if you had just purchased common shares, while if the stock never pops you can lose everything with warrants. They are very illiquid and volatile, but if you are patient they can be extremely rewarding. Buying warrants on big dips on stocks I follow (NVVE, RDW, etc.) has yielded 300-400% returns in just a few months. But you can easily be down 30-40% on the way to that 300% or 400% return.
With BMAQ, you are gambling that the management team here announces an acquisition target that is "hot" in the crypto world and causes it to go trending on sites like Stocktwits. Another thing that can happen a lot with SPAC's is that you see a huge rip just after the merger closes, followed by a large crash. So if you can time your sale on those huge rips, those warrants trading for 50 cents right now could easily be $3-4. But you have to strike quick when the opportunity arises.

warrants are 2:1
So they are 2:1.. what is the maturity date and strike price on the warrant details?
Hard to find this info on SPAC warrants, I’ve found.
ETA:
Oct 14 2026 @ $11.50

Best site I've seen to research SPAC details is: spactrack.net Like you said, warrant details are often very hard to find.

Warrants are 2:1.. this means two warrants equal 1 common.
At first glance I thought the other way around.
ETA: if I would learn to read, I’d find many of life’s questions have already been answered. Including mine above

Nice movement on the warrants today.

Best performing position of the week by far. Too bad it’s also my smallest position, lol.

Yep. Lot of price movement based on low volume though.
None of this matters unless it gets a big pump. I.e.. hard to sell a larger position, particularly in the warrants.
I’m in with you folks as of this AM though.
