Same here. I've heard it was a good one.

Look at the sticky thread. I've read several books and the theme is dollar cost averaging and broad index funds.

The intelligent investor (Benjamin Graham)
The cold hard truth of business and life (Kevin O'Leary)
What they don't teach you in business school (Richard Branson)
Total Money Makeover (Dave Ramsey)
There's another book I haven't read that was written by Sam Walton, can't remember the name. I was told thought it's fantastic. I'll be reading it soon.

This board use to pump A Random Walk down Main Street.

One of the best books I've read recommended by our ol pal Jersey Tiger from way back is The Dhando Investor.

I've read a couple of the other books mentioned here, but this is a really great book. Highly enlightening.

Peter Lynch, "One Up on Wall Street". Written in 1989 but IMO it is still a very practical way to find companies for investment. His premise was "finding the needles in the haystack" before the Wall Street finds them, so you aren't buying on old news. Also, he advises to buy what you know. For example, if you are in the mobile phone business, then your knowledge of the business can give you a leg up on spotting trends, deals, etc.

Millionaire next Door and Millionaire Mind are two good ones just for the saver and entrepeneur's mind set. Living BENEATH your means is the first step toward building wealth.
