It looks like H.C. Wainwright bought these shares at $1.90 each. I'm guessing if they are willing to buy that much at that price, then they see this staying above $1.90 and hopefully growing much more. I'm just guessing here, but maybe someone else has a better understanding.
Typically secondary offerings are priced at a discount. Wainwright underwrote the offering. They also have the opportunity to purchase another $3.75MM at $1.90, which they almost certainly will if the price holds steady above $2. They have a nearly guaranteed profit on their money given the substantial discount they received.
Diluting shares generally used to be considered a bad thing for existing shareholders, but that hasn’t been the case in 2020-2021.

The thing about that $1.90 price is that this has probably been months in negotiation, and just agreed to within the last week or so. They may well have been trying to push the price up on the day they agreed. WRT to dilution, it's not much. See my post on numbers above.

You raise capital this way when your stock shoots to the moon. I’d be surprised if they have been talking for more than a couple weeks.
The dilution isn’t a ton, but it’s the sign it sends that’s historically more troubling. It’s akin to insiders selling.
That’s under normal circumstances though, not 2021 dynamics.

STLHF issued more shares at $1.71 when it was trading around $2 I believe. All spoken for. It's now holding above $3.00.
What are they using the cash for?

It’s happened a ton in the last 6-9 months.

Yeah no. Priced yesterday - they had a shelf out there to be able to pull down on a snap. They see this as cheap money. Disclosure: I was in to 2.28 and have enjoyed the run

I’m going to be doing my due diligence tonight on DRNK.

Looks like they are using the capital to pay off one or more of their partners who reached a milestone of developing the tests.

I have been around penny stocks for decades, have pointed out a fraud or two on this board (LVVV in the haus)....
but what AT has done in the past 2 months is like nothing I have seen. Picking a winner is one thing, but the continued success is truly breathtaking.
I can argue the fundamentals until I am blue in the face, but the reality is in the dollar bills what he has made for us all.

Apparently Qorvo US, Inc. is doing the leg work of developing different test for ZOM's TRUFORMA diagnostic tool. They reached successful milestones and are being paid. Hopefully they have more milestones to reach and are successful in doing so. ZOM needs vets to pick up on TRUFORMA. Their distribution partner is apparently well regarded in the industry.

Look I am challenged by some of the fundamentals of some of them (See tsnp fall thread) ..... but the consistent home runs are what they are - the timing has been psychotically good

AT out here spreading the love to the masses.

Is it a function of the current market, though? A coming together of the stars?

Millions of new investors flooded the market a week and a half ago and they are targeting small caps
