Yikes. Prayers sent, because that’s not typically someone who is waiting to buy a dip.

Investible? 0

I dont try to time the market. It goes up more often than going down (sitting out on an up defeats any purpose of trying to wait and buy a dip)

I have a 6 month emergency fund which will either purchase a car or a motorcycle when my tax refund hits next week.

Mine too, but only in hindsight after the stock market goes down.

About 20%.Dw and I are 68 and 70.With SS,we could ride out 3-4 years of a downturn in the stock market.
To tell the truth if I had known the stock market was going to do as well as it has I would have kept more in equities and less in cash.Hindsight is 20-20.

Only about 10% cash. Instead of averaging down, I’m probably just going to pull out for a while.

0.

My cash is either spent, invested, or sits in the emergency fund.

I have about 10% in cash currently but I’m also dropping $50k on another house Friday. I used to always keep over $100k in cash just in case I had an opportunity pop up like buying a cheap beach condo that had to move fast but my financial guy convinced me to keep it in semi liquid assets like ETFs I could sell easily if needed.

Too much but I’m young and my emergency fund is a big portion of my net worth at this point. Though my NW has shot up like stupid over the last year.
