Are there any specific S&P Index Funds that you recommend?

I'm looking to put $1000 into a mutual fund on eTrade and I would appreciate some advice. Thank you.

VTI and let it ride if it’s long term. On the shorter term I’d recommend an innovative ETF. ARKK is at cheaper levels right now

FXAIX is the lowest fee S&P 500 index fund, fees are half of VOO at .015%. I almost exclusively invest in FXAIX

If you have a Fidelity account they have a completely zero fee fund (FNILX)

Be careful here with potential wash sale rules. Probably not a big deal to normal folks, but their substantial overlap could run afoul of the spirit of the wash sale rule.
