If you like Paladin, what about Newmont as a less risky bet but while still gaining some exposure to Paladin?

Because I think Paladin was being considered as more of a spec play here. The reward from directly investing in Paladin should an M&A happen would be WAY higher than the 7 percent exposure you get from Newmont.

I believe all the energy plays are good and U is very good since it's beaten down now. Sooner or later the world will realize that the French have done a pretty good job of creating electricty with U and stop making fun of the French long enough to see what they are doing right.
The French are also doing a very good job with their rail systems.

I guess my hesitation to do so stems from the fact that if a novice investor such as myself had that exact thought (and I did as soon as the nuclear reactor problems became public)...then it can't be all that great or original an idea and, if it was, it would've already been taken advantage of by people far more savvy than I.

This is how I feel too. It's like that old economist joke, if it were a real $20 bill someone would already have picked it up.

I've traded CCJ and DNN. As Ux recovers I expect DNN to have a stronger move as it always does (up & down) vs. CCJ. Low price makes it an easy park and forget, then look for 50% within a year or so.

Recommended this a few days ago on this same board. Another smart move is natural gas.
