Anyone book VRBOs or Airbnbs with a travel rewards CC and it count as travel/hotel?

Looking for a CC mainly for this that gives better than 2% rewards.
I know Chase Sapphire Preferred is well liked for travel benefits, but seeing mixed info on if Vrbos and Airbnbs would always fall under the travel category.
Well Fargo Autograph has a Forbes article that says it does and I was told by customer service it does.
Any others?
Thanks!

I use the chase sapphire reserve and airbnbs always show up as travel. If it doesn’t you can reclassify the category to travel and they shouldn’t fight you on it.

Never had issues with the chase Sapphire reserve labeling VRBO and Airbnb as travel

Do you know if you can book airbnbs or vrbos through the chase rewards portal?

You can’t book them through there but you can use the Pay Yourself Back option that lets you use points and I think it gives you the 50% boost for AirBnBs once you pay for it.

Just an FYI: both these outfits were outspoken BLM advocates during the Saint Floyd mostly-peaceful period.
