Anyone have any suggestions of where to get a land/lot loan? I just signed an agreement for a lot located in a subdivision in Baton Rouge. I've filled out an application at People's Bank but just looking for other options. Thanks!

I got the best rates at Whitney bank in Walker
Call and speak with Melanie or Nick, easy to work with. If the property appraisal is good you won't have issues.

Mid south had the best rates by a long shot when I bought mine last year

When I bought my lot, First American Bank had financed the development for the developer and offered a special financing rate and lower down payments for the lots. They also didn't require an appraisal. I'm not sure how common this is, but it might be worth looking into.
