You as well.
Couldn't come at a better time also, we are starting to win some public bid project that will likely require me to add another crew.
Look me up if you ever decide to slum it around BR. I'll show you what a small time operation looks like

Hey man, I'm small as well. Do you do access control work? We're starting to get a LOT of school projects to bid up here for access control.

If these projects start to land (fingers crossed) we're going to have to add staff as well.

I don't work for a bank. I'm a PPP borrower who was fed up with round 1 and how the big banks handled it so I educated myself and found a small bank to work with who wanted to earn my business.

What info should we gather up VA?

I don't, I am strictly network cabling in K-12 and starting some small college work (Xavier and Delgado). I also do some commercial bid work through electricals around here and several that I have won are about ready to rough in, one being the vaccine clinic in BR.
I have the best group of techs that I've had in over 20 years and I am not wanting to rock that boat just yet. I may add one more crew, but that will be it for the next few years. I have a few really good customers that keep us plenty busy, especially with the ERATE work in EBR schools.

I'm still waiting. Applied with SmartBiz last week and keep getting generic emails saying they are processing the applications. My loan is far less than $100k- self-employed and just outsource all needed labor.

Waiting on an accountant to finalize a financial report then I'll submit another application to my local bank and accept whichever loan gets funded first.

Funded this morning through Buckeyes source.

They did our previous loan as well. Even smoother this time around.

Awesome!
Hancock funded our account last night after signing yesterday.
Glad that is over!

Got a message from the first processor saying I needed to upload more documents. I checked and they didn't like the voided check I uploaded. Uploaded another one. Still waiting to hear back.

My local bank I used before partnered with another bank to process this round. I'm also trying to apply through that. The partner bank's online portal is kind of confusing. I have two LLCs with pass through taxation and income from both was on the first loan. Seems like this new portal wants me to do two separate apps. There's no local banker I can call really so I set up an appointment for a call online. They were supposed to call me this am, but didn't. Hope the first app goes through so I don't have to jump through whatever hoops/bureaucracy the partner bank throws at me.

Congrats to all who got funded already!

I applied, signed load docs, and was funded inside of 10 days with Hancock. They had their shite together--application was prepopulated with all pertinent info. Took me maybe 5 min to apply.

You would need to speak with a banker that specializes in these. My understanding is in order to qualify for the 2nd round, it has to be the same principal owners. The basis of this is you knew the condition of the company when you purchased the business.

Thanks for the response. That makes sense. However it seems like there should be some provisions that allow for buying a business that got the first round and the business still be eligible for the second round of PPP because the Covid pandemic is ongoing.

Still never heard from citizens after reaching out multiple times. Reluctantly I filled the application with chase. I know it was a probably a mistake but Chase sent me the application and I got tired of waiting on citizens.

If Buckeye's guy is still taking applications, I'd contact him. I applied with him - got my loan number last night.

My local bank's "portal" (we used this local bank last year and had big delays) indicates that I'm more than 10 days away from SBA approval through them. I need to find the right person at my local bank to tell them they need to dog it off.

Buckeye's dude is absolutely the best.

I got an email from the first processor approving PP2 but for 20% less than what was approved last time and 20% less than their own application calculator said. Think it might have something to do with the income being shown on 2 separate schedule Cs. I emailed them to follow up. Hard to actually get ahold of a human with these people.

This isn't a huge loan so the haircut wouldn't be for that much though I hate to leave money on the table. Wish they would've just left the economy open instead of having to send us checks. Not a fan of these big government programs.

Emailed VA Buckeye while ago asking for his banker's info.

The loan amount has nothing to do with revenue and everything to do with payroll. Robert will get the right number for you.
