This is a money talk board. But most of the topics are negative. I know the economy is rough, but we didn't lose all our money overnight. FWIW, I'm a good saver and have been able to get great value because I'm purchasing at the right time. Now is the best time to be buying, you're spending less money than before and you're buying the same thing. Everything that is being sold right now should be considered "On Sale"

Don't believe me? Check out gas prices. $1.89 last place I went. Let's be thankful for what we have.

FWIW, libor jumped upwards for the first time in a month, and continued today. It's premature to say we're about to get another credit cramp (I'm trademarking that) based on just two days, but it's definitely worth noting.

Conventional wisdom that would have perhaps served you well in other down periods but for which there is no evidence whatsoever that it is the cast this time.

MileHigh--Well done. You've just proven yourself a loser.

Don't waste your time, you can't shame the shameless.

In general though he is right about your thread though. You come here questioning why a money board is negative in the middle of what may well be the start of a depression? There's always a silver lining if you look hard enough, but lets not kid ourselves, the next few years won't be great for most people. It's time for the hangover.
