Today was nice and green. Don't call it a comeback.

My portfolio been here for years
Rockin' my peers, puttin' suckers in fear
Making' the tears rain down like a monsoon

Nope, it either goes down to $0.00 or back up 10 stacks of High Society from here. I've done that panic selling in the past like '08/'09 and missed the rising tide. Not this time, I got enough cash and cash equivalents as a safety net to not panic sell out of equities anymore. That's a lesson that you have to experience in real-life like 2000 or 2008 to truly understand imo.

My God you are an out of touch drama queen. No one is crying numb nuts, I was poking fun of myself for losing a nice chunk of money, albeit paper losses. Everyone so far seems to understand that and responded with their own, except for the know-it-all SDVTiger. Haven't you been wrong on every damn thread ever discussed on interest rates? Lol I remember you saying mortgages will never get to 7% like 2 years ago lol.

What brokers are you using?

Charles Schwab, Principal and TSP for me,

I was told some have limits on movement in and out of funds at certain brokerages.

It's amazing to me how indifferent to denominator so many of you are. This post means literally nothing if there is no scale.

Are you for real? I said it was a nice chunk. There's your "scale" nerd. Let me guess, you've made an absolute killing in the market the last 2-3 weeks shorting everything under the sun lol. I honestly don't know who's worse, you or your boyfriend STDTiger.

You did? Certainly not in your OP.

That's quite a non-sequitur rant.

Here's something though: I understand the concept of denominators and scale. Rickgrimes evidently does too.

ETA: IMO, it's dumb to quote absolute dollars at all. Just say what % you are down. That's all that matters. Ditto the "Dow is down 200 points!" guys. Always give the %.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m down 200k in the last 3 weeks. It could be much worse thank god bonds are doing decent with the 10 year treasury falling. Sucks to look at on paper but I’m holding strong and DCA on the way down.

I tip my cap to the baws in here because I don’t have the balls to even check my accounts.

I just keep throwing my normal contributions in and hope shite isn’t fricked in 30 years when it comes time to hang up the corporate noose.
