401k target-date retirement funds?

Can target date retirement funds carry a retirement plan? Assuming employee contribution of 6% and full match by employer. I know it depends on the market's performance between now and 2050, but what is the general consensus for target-date retirement funds?
Investing 95% aggressively in PARFX. Just opened RIRA last week but not contributing as much to it as the 401k.

Target-date retirement funds are fine. Very straightforward and easy to understand. It's up to you whether you'd want to branch out and take on more (or less) risk by adding some other funds.
