I was just scammed on DandyDon. It was for the LSU vs OU game.

I know this isn’t the correct board but it must be broadcasted out everywhere. They were supposed to be a 60 yr birthday gift to me for that game club seats.. I needed 4 tix and was swindled $2500. My lost but I just needed to vent and for everyone to be careful.

Damn I don’t know if I hate the scammers more or you gullible people more. Hate that you got taken but there are so many things you should do before sending that kind of money to anyone.

This sucks. Very sorry to hear. Scammers are much better now than a few years ago when you’d get broken English and painfully obvious scams.

I have seen a few scammers on DandyDon. Every time I realize the person is fake, I report it and the listing gets removed. I am not sure how the people are getting their listings thru the admins in the first place.
So sorry for your loss, but DD does say the best means for buying tickets is face-to-face if at all possible.
When you ask for a meet up, a scammer always exposes himself.
