Learn a lesson from my mistake.
I posted on here WTB 2 tickets for 5/13 v MSU. Got an email yesterday from Dora Ruvalcaba asking if I was still looking to secure tickets. After some emails I had them text me, got the Venmo account and it was under the name Jo Harper.
That should've been a red flag since it wasn't the same name.
$250 down the drain.

So many things were a red flag here that should've stopped you.

1. Dora Ruvalcaba...The hell kind of a name is that for someone that has tickets for LSU baseball? (Pro tip: Look them up on Facebook, almost the entire world has a Facebook these days)

2. $250 for TWO tickets to a baseball game?? Unless they are behind home plate with a parking spot next to Coach Johnson's, that is insanity.

3. Different name on venmo than what was on e-mail.

4. Bet the area code was whack that texted you. (Pro tip: Reverse look up that phone number.)

I hate scammers but you gotta do better vet these people.

Scammer has a 225 number. And has a photoshopped image showing seats in 212 behind homeplate.

I knew it was fake there, but sounds like the Venmo step where it asks for the recipients last 4 of phone number is where folks really should have been stepping away. Red flag.
