If not, this will be the first time he loses 3 games in a row.

Three cupcakes and split the SEC games gives you 7 wins and a bowl game. He's here as long as he wants to be here.

Nope they are not, it is simple mathematics.

When your head coach is one of the top 8 highest paid coaches in the country and his staff is one of the top 8 highest paid staffs in the country, expecting his team to be a top 8 team in the country is right in line with the pay. News flash we are not in the top 25 in the polls this week.

I deny your "truth". Miles selected Lee at QB, then replaced him with Jefferson. Of course most of the time he will stick with his guy, just like every coach. That's because he usually will pick the best guy.

It's a rare case that the younger QB will be so much more talented that it makes up for the incumbent's experience. It looks like we're in that situation now. And I bet Miles replaces AJ at some point next year.

Miles selected Lee at QB

Jefferson was facing jail time.

JJ's off field foolishness and our DA benched him, otherwise, JL wouldn't have sniffed the field in 2011. He would have been in the same spot as he was on 1-9-2012

His salary is huge. All of the fans should expect only the best of outcomes. Excuses for him should stop. He is a stubborn egomaniac and eventually will run our program into the ground and leave a millionaire. If you love LSU football you have to expect championships, it is what we are paying for.

I absolutely agree with the OP. It is Miles' ego/arrogance that creates this stubbornness. Les is going to prove everyone wrong. He is unable to admit that he is wrong. Coupled with the fact that he knows he is untouchable, nothing will change as long as he is here. The game has passed him by and it is time for him to pack his bags and go. I also turned the game off early in the 4th quarter when it was apparent that he was not going to play Harris. I could not stomach anymore of such a sickening display of offensive ineptitude.

He does but people still like him because he plays this goofy loveable persona and people ignore this character flaw. It's the reason why 1/9 and 11/15 happened and will continue to happen unless someone in power stops him.

I read the other day that highly paid Head Coaches with top recruiting classes have an obligation to their employer to consistently produce at a very high level. Anybody else hear that?

Even if we lose to TAMU he has absolutely zero accountability to anyone at this point. It would take another 2 years of the bullshite we have gone through this year for his seat to even start to turn hot and probably another 2 years after that to even hope he would be fired. He is pretty much untouchable unless he pulls an Edwin Edwards and gets caught in bed "with a dead girl or live boy"
Correct in your thinking, but a little off in the time line.

In this scenario, Tiger Stadium will literally be empty except for a few scattered Sunshine Pumpers and "Party people that are there for the social aspects and could totally care less about LSU football."

There are many big money people, power brokers, TAF's, season ticket holders, alums and fans that want this guy out.

The problem is that our astute Athletic Director has screwed the Pooch with that ridiculous contract extension and raise. So now the "Buyout" is almost totally unmanageable. Will take multiple (And unknown) big money people to put that kind of moolah together.

The L.S.U. Nation will have to make this guy feel so uncomfortable here that he'll voluntarily resign.

I really think everyone needs to calm down. Yes I agree that the most disappointing aspect of this season is the lack of development of the quarterback position. This is a very young team. The next two years LSU will be back in the national spotlight and a top 5 team. This offseason will be one of the most important offseason in resent history cause one of our two young quarterbacks will have to take command of this offense and lead this team into the future. Next years defense will only be stronger with a year under their belt and another year in the weight room. Another key aspect will be the future of RR. If he comes back and gets his mind right, LSU will have the best secondary in the country and possibly best in Miles Era. So with two games left in this season, Let's try to finish on a high note and roll it over into next year. Geaux Tigers!!!

Miles apologists were calling for NC next year. 'Calm down', wait 'til next year, ad nauseum.
