When he had protection from his offensive line he was one of the very best passers LSU has ever had in their program. If the guy had wheels he may have won the Heisman and another LSU football championship. He was that gifted of a passer. Fun to watch indeed!

We may not have had the kind of year in the win column I would have liked but it was one of the more enjoyable years in recent memory watching the offense. The combination of Mett, Landry and Beckham made for some incredible highlights. Thanks Mett for some incredible throws and always hanging tough

Lots of good things about Mett. Best thing IMHO... He never made excuses, just went out and played. Hope he reads the outpouring of good things here on TD. Mett...you went out as a proud Tiger. Best to you in the NFL.
