horrible QBs don't complete 64% of their passes in the SEC.

Not very hard to have a 64% completion rate when 90% of those completed passes are five yards or less, with many just dump offs to RB's, which was a mainstay of Crowtons 2009 watered down "Let's protect JJ from Picks/Pick 6's" high school level offense. Simply can't have quartermeerkatbacks staring over to the sidelenes for play calls because they can't recognize and read defenses. This is LSU and the SEC, not Destrehan High School......

YPA:

Jordan Jefferson (2009) - 7.32
Jarrett Lee (2008) - 6.96
Matt Flynn - (2007) - 6.71

Yep, that pretty much sums it up...

Good God, now I remember why being on the Rant in pre-football season is like driving by an accident on the freeway.

I suppose you missed the down field TDs against Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Arky. Or the perfect pass he had to Toliver in the bowl game that TT dropped. JJ was young. Let's see what he does this year. Not many sophomore QBs do too well in the SEC.

This would be a nightmare scenario. There is absolutely no way that this happens. Sorry to overstate the obvious as many have already.

Yeah, do you really stand behind this stupid comment?

If we throw him in as a freshman before he's comfortable with all the reads in Crowton's offense, he could very well have a bad start and lead to serious confidence problems (see JL).

...The "Awesome" in front was sarcasm.

Sorry I wasn't awake to see this thread last night. I laughed my arse off once I realized the OP couldn't be serious.

I love the Rant. Threads like this make me sleep easy at night. It's comforting knowing I'm not the bottom of the evolutionary chain. Natural selection is awesome

For him to start by game 4, LSU would have to be 0-3. So you think he'll go 6-3 or 7-2 in the SEC? Wow, he really is the future.
