Nuss needs to start over Daniel’s. To answer your question. He and the staff clearly wanted to try him at a new position. Didn’t work. shite happens. Time to move him back to what he was doing last year.

They are trying to make him and inside linebacker and he’s not very good at that.

Because of lack of depth & talent at ILB but handcuffing your best defensive player is a mistake.

Hopefully it was their game plan vs FSU’s Qb. Maybe when Smith comes back, they will be able to pressure up the middle, and put Perkins back to an edge rusher.

They can make him an inside linebacker and still use him to bring pressure. You can bring pressure up the middle. You can bring pressure on the edge. He needs to be moved around to keep the defense guessing. What you absolutely don't do is drop him into coverage the majority of the time. That's some Lou Tepper/Pete Golding level bullshite. I've lost all faith in House.

so try Perkins for the full four quarters when you are getting exposed ? Second half as we watched our D getting carved up- If I am BK or House I am hollering at the top of my lungs- We gotta put Perkins back on edge and let him pressure their QB if we are going to have a chance-
