In 2005, JaMarcus Rusell hits Dwayne Bowe for the winner in overtime...LSU wins 16-13 in Tuscaloosa. I believe Bama had only one loss or was undefeated at the time.

Will never forget that one, celebrated so much I blew my knee out

1988 -- in Tuscaloosa. My main memory is we kicked a field goal with time running out into the endzone where LSU fans were sitting. We all had our arms up signaling good before the kick was made.

This is mine...Phillip Doyle missed by what might have been inches the GW for Bama. Very hard fought game.

Mine was definitely '88. My best friend from high school started at Bama. We got tickets right behind the bench and kept chanting his name when he came off the field.

The 1998 loss was like absorbing a blow to the stomach.

1999 was equally as bad; but I think '98 stung a little more b/c it was a home game and we blew a late lead.

Thanksgiving night 1973 - undefeated LSU 9-0 VS undefeated Bama 9-0 on national TV. Bama won 21-7 running the wishbone. Louisiana QB Terry Davis running the Bama offense. Tigers never recovered after that game and lost to Tulane the next week in New Orleans 14-0 to break the 25 year tiger win streak.

1998 - Probably the sickest I've ever felt after a football game.

this is the correct answer

I'll never forget it...was my freshman year at LSU, we were preseason #6 (I think) and flopped big time. Beginning of the end for 'ol Dinardo.

1988 watching Doyle miss that kick was awesome. Prior to the national championship game, it was the greatest game I attended.

On a freezing, rainy night in Tiger Stadium, I sat there cold and wet for the whole game. I couldn't leave because the score was 3-0 Bama. At halftime, I found a relatively dry plastic garbage bag, and it was like I found gold. People around me were jealous. In the fourth quarter the Tiger QB threw a pass around the Bama 20 yard line, it hit the receiver in the chest, and bounced away. Final score - Bama 3, LSU 0.

I was there as well in 79 for the 3-0 Bama win . The game was played in the sleet and freezing rain. I was a young pup and all I had to keep me warm was a bottle of MD 20/20.As I recall Bama came in undefeated and highly ranked and LSU missed a 4th quarter field goal on the "Frozen Tundra" of Tiger stadium that would have tied. My friend was so hammered he lost his shoe hiking through the mud and ice on the way back to the car and he didn't even know it until we got home.
Ahhhh ..... the good ole days !

The 1970 game with LSU coming back in the second half to whip Kenny Stabler for our last win in TS for ? 30 years. It was also my first LSU game ever. The crowd noise to a little boy from Funreaux was almost frightening. The Bama band played too long at halftime, and LSU's band didn't get to play.KC.

I went with my best friend (who died in 02). Our seats were in the Bama section and they were shell shocked. The LSU band played for a long time after and the LSU crowd celebrated in the stands.
